BLAK POWER COMIX is a quarterly magazine anthology combining art, comics, illustrated short stories and interviews by some of Australia’s leading Indigenous comic creators.
BLAK POWER COMIX will be distributed across remote and regional communities across Northern Australia through a unique distribution network including art and community centres, schools, libraries and local shops so that the publication is accessible to as wide an audience as possible
BLAK POWER COMIX aims to play a crucial role in nurturing literacy in young First Nations readers, as well as sharing meaningful and important social awareness campaigns. It is more than just a magazine; it’s a platform for change, education, and inspiration. We will be partnering partner with not-for-profits, government agencies, and educational groups that are committed to making a positive impact.
